WELE Team - The Founder

Mr. Le Trung Hieu founded the We Enjoy Learning English program in May 2014, drawing on his own personal experience and a desire to help all Vietnamese people in their journey of conquering a foreign language.

Mr. Hieu studied in the specialized Math class at Tran Phu High School from 2005-2008. During his high school years, he was the first person to bring the Duong Len Dinh Olympia TV bridge program to Hai Phong City https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hk-jOPEIZSM.

After graduating high school, he received a scholarship to study at the University of Southampton, majoring in Naval Architecture.

Graduating from university with an excellent degree, as well as being one of the students with the most outstanding extracurricular achievements, he was hired by a multinational corporation, working in the Marine Consultants field (consulting on maritime operations, offshore installation projects) in Singapore and Australia before returning to the UK.

Alongside developing his career, he grew the We Enjoy Learning English project as a volunteer project — fulfilling his dream of wanting to raise the English level of Vietnamese people — both to promote Vietnamese tourism and to elevate the country's human resources.

He is currently a Chartered Engineer, and Senior Naval Architect at Sterling Technical Vietnam, headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, a company operating in the fields of Marine Warranty Survey Services and T&I (Transportation and Installation) Engineering, participating in key projects of Vietnam such as Block B O Mon, Lac Da Vang, and the Con Dao power cable.

WELE is still developing strongly as a side project and has supported tens of thousands of young people across the whole country.
