Hi Dương, could you introduce yourself a little?

I'm currently working as Customer Service for a company selling POD (print on demand) and Dropshipping for the overseas market, and I'm based in HCMC.

What keeps you maintaining your listening practice habit with WELE?

I think it's thanks to the daily check-in (streak) system that motivates me not to want to break the streak of days I'm studying. Besides that, the listening exercises aren't too long, so I find listening every day quite interesting, especially after a while when my accuracy percentage got higher, so I know my listening process has really been effective.

How effective do you find participating in WELE for your English ability?

I feel like all 4 skills — listening, speaking, reading, writing — of mine have improved. At first I thought dictation would only help improve listening and writing, but later I also picked up pronunciation similar to the reporters I listen to, as well as reading. Oh, I also learned to predict common answers in the listening exercises.

Do you have any message for WELE's new members?

I hope you all can take the time to enjoy the website. For me, doing dictation practice on the website feels more like playing a game than a regular dictation website. I think spending 30 minutes to 1 hour each day is enough to practice 1-2 lessons. I think beginners will also find the website easy to use, with a lot of engaging and practical topics too. I also thank the admins a lot for posting so many great listening exercises.
