Phạm Loan - WELE's Top 20
Hello everyone! I found out about WELE through a friend of mine, he shared with me a way to listen more effectively. Today marks more than 6 months of me studying on WELE every day.
To get started I went in and tried listening to a few lessons and I really liked this website. There are a few things I really like about WELE:
- The interface is extremely easy to use, the layout is reasonable, it doesn't look cluttered, but it's still very lively and cute. This is what I like the most
- Listening lessons are categorized specifically, making it easy to search according to your needs
- With a Premium account you can create your own listening lessons based on your needs, like at first I often listened to 6 Minutes English, then I created my own lessons based on Cambridge to listen to
- There are also some features like saving vocabulary, remembering words you got wrong, which I don't use so I'm not too clear on them
When studying on WELE, somehow I feel like time passes very quickly and I get really excited while studying, thanks to listening and transcribing like this I've also gotten more used to typing in English, before I used to feel awkward since I was only used to writing. Right now I still keep up 30 minutes a day to listen to about 2 lessons, practicing daily helps my ears not forget and also keeps me from forgetting vocabulary. However, the experience of the WELE app on my phone still isn't that great, I really hope the operating team will make more improvements in the time to come.
I really want to thank WELE for creating a truly useful and approachable platform that makes learning English easier. I wish you all get to be known by even more people in the future and become a platform for the whole nation, so that learning English becomes truly close and enjoyable for everyone.
