Hi there, could you tell the program a little about yourself? Hello everyone, I'm Nguyễn Thị Hạnh. I'm currently an office worker in Hải Phòng.
What keeps you going with your listening practice habit at WELE?
- First, I want to build discipline in practicing English every day, and keeping up my streak on WELE makes it feel fun.
- Second, WELE's dictation listening exercises are very varied. Besides practicing listening, I also pick up a lot of new words, and gain more general knowledge too.
- On top of that, I'm also really excited about the monthly challenges, and I hope WELE keeps this feature going.
How effective do you find participating in WELE for your English ability? I get to practice listening with many different voices, so my listening comprehension and my ability to catch the correct pronunciation of words have improved significantly. For me, with a lot of listening exercises I've been able to get up to 90% correct on the very first listen. Catching the correct pronunciation of a word also helps me fix and improve my own pronunciation of that word when speaking.
Do you have any message for WELE's new members? Dictation seems like a boring method for practicing English, but it becomes incredibly fun when you practice it with the WELE program.
