Recently I've gone back to studying English more, to build up my knowledge every day. It reminds me of the months I spent prepping for IELTS, when every day I'd transcribe listening passages from practice tests just to train my listening skills and reflexes in English. Realizing how important dictation practice is, I've had my students from grade 6 up practice listening dictation in class, and had them sign up for accounts on WELE LEARN to practice dictation at home. The teacher listens too, the students listen too. A little each day builds the skill up a lot more than the day before. On Wele Learn, there are tons of listening passages across many topics and difficulty levels. For example, if you're new to English, I'd recommend picking Spotlight English or 6 Minutes English to practice with. You get to learn new vocabulary and practice listening dictation at the same time.

Right now, using it on the web is completely free. Using it on the phone app requires a yearly subscription (220K). I find the web version more than good enough, and most of my students have a computer/tablet to work on, so there's no issue. In cases where they only have a phone, I show my students how to access Wele Learn through Safari or Chrome on their phone. That way they can still do the exercises, and it's still completely free.
