What Are WELE Coins? Complete Usage Guide
If you've used WELE, you've probably seen "WELE Coins" (WCs) appearing in many places. So what are WCs and what are they for? This article explains in detail.
What Are WELE Coins?
WELE Coins are virtual currency in the WELE system. You can earn WCs by completing listening exercises and use them to unlock learning support features.
How to Earn WELE Coins
There are many ways to earn WCs:
- Complete lessons: Each successful submission earns 2 WCs
- Daily login: Receive rewards for maintaining streaks
- Complete challenges: Challenges have WCs rewards
- Refer friends: Earn WCs when referrals sign up
Features You Can Use WCs For
1. Show Wrong Cells (2 WCs)
This is the feature I recommend most. After checking your work, if you want to know where you made mistakes without submitting, use this feature.
It helps you identify listening errors immediately, saving time and improving learning efficiency.
2. View Word List (5 WCs)
This feature shows all words to fill, sorted alphabetically. Useful when you hear the sound but aren't sure about spelling.
However, I don't recommend using it frequently as it can create dependency.
3. Replay Submitted Lesson (4 WCs)
Allows you to redo a submitted lesson. However, I don't recommend this feature because:
- The first attempt reflects your true ability best
- Redoing old lessons is less effective than new ones
- Better to save coins for more useful features
4. Join Challenges
Challenges require you to deposit some WCs. If you complete on time, you get deposit back + bonus. If not, you lose the deposit.
This is a great way to create learning motivation!
Redeem Rewards with WCs
You can also exchange WCs for rewards:
- 100 WCs: 1 month Premium subscription
- 120 WCs: 12% discount on packages
- 20 WCs: 1 day mobile app access
Tips for Using WCs
From my experience, the most effective way to use WCs is:
- Prioritize "Show Wrong Cells" feature - cheap price, big benefit
- Accumulate to redeem Premium if you study regularly
- Join challenges for extra motivation
Happy learning!
