Hey everyone, this week we will listen to 6 minutes with the introduction by admin Thu Hằng. Surely everyone still remembers the robot boy ASIMO – the pride of Japanese technology, right?

. Do you know that for over 20 years of hard work in research and innovation, engineers have created ASIMO, which is considered to be the closest to a human-like robot? Why do people call ASIMO like that? Let's find out.

The first thing is that ASIMO has an Artificial Intelligence that enables it to mimic the intelligent actions of humans, such as learning from its own mistakes or making decisions based on past events… It is created by a series of algorithms that consist of many steps so that it can follow and solve problems.

.

The second thing is that ASIMO has the ability to do things that humans often take for granted, like simple actions such as walking, standing, sitting, greeting, or recognizing someone… It seems so easy, but think about how to implement those actions on a robot; it’s incredibly difficult. This is because robot kids are made just from screws and a series of 0s and 1s, so they have many limitations.

.

In summary, the reason ASIMO is famous is that it is a product of modern and advanced computing technology when at that time, no robot was able to do this.

This week’s lesson is brief, but don’t take it for granted. You learned a bunch of cool words about technology!
